Benjamin is a freshman majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics. Throughout all of high school he competed in Public Forum debate, winning the IHSSA state championship as the top speaker in his junior year, and reaching the semi-finals of the Tournament of Champions in his senior year, as well as qualifying for the National Speech and Debate Tournament. Benjamin also coaches for a few different public forum teams on the circuit. Outside of debate, he enjoys playing the piano, learning the guitar, and listening to music specifically hip hop, jazz, and classical. Benjamin also enjoys writing poetry and prose in my free time.
