The A. Craig Baird Debate Forum is dedicated to using debate to empower those on the side of truth to craft a better world through an active Speaker Series, public debates, and promoting debate in high school and around the world. Iowa maintained an active debate society for over half a century before the advent of intercollegiate debate tournaments in the early 1900s, and the reach of the A. Craig Baird Debate Forum extends far beyond its competitive success.
