Lily Severson is a senior at the University of Iowa double majoring in Economics (BBA) and Political Science (BS). Entering her 3rd year in debate, she is excited to continue to grow in both debate skills and competitive success. Outside of the debate room, Lily is an active student leader. She serves as an elected senator in the Undergraduate Student Government, works as an intern for a federal political campaign, and volunteers at an equine therapy barn whenever she is back in Des Moines. Following graduation, she plans to relocate to somewhere on the east cost and head to law school. In her downtime, Lily enjoys traveling, taking care of her fish, and growing bonsai.
