Nate is a Freshman debater from Iowa City, IA. He is double majoring in English and Secondary Education. In high school he debated for Iowa City West high school where he accumulated nine bids to the Tournament of Champions, as well as making elimination rounds of the Tournament of Champions twice. In his free time, he enjoys reading, playing chess, and playing basketball. Along with participating in debate he also coaches students from across the country, this past summer Nate worked for the National Symposium of Debate in Philadelphia and Minneapolis. He is excited to start college debate this year at the University of Iowa.
