Nate is a Sophomore debater from Iowa City, IA. He is majoring in Political Science and Secondary Education with a minor in Economics. In high school he debated for Iowa City West high school where he accumulated nine bids to the Tournament of Champions, as well as making elimination rounds of the Tournament of Champions twice. In his free time, he enjoys reading, playing chess, and playing basketball. Along with participating in debate he also coaches students from across the country, this past summer Nate worked for the National Symposium of Debate in Philadelphia and Minneapolis. He is excited to continue with another year of debate at Iowa.
