Spencer Roetlin graduated from the University of Iowa in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in political science with a focus in international relations and a minor in Korean studies after debating for five years. During his time on the team, he qualified to the NDT four times (including as a freshman), was crowned District IV champion, and made late elimination rounds at several national tournaments. He’s now an assistant coach helping with research and file production, on-site coaching at tournaments, and fulfilling the teams judging commitments. Studying for the GRE he plans to continue his education soon. In his free time, he enjoys playing the video game Valorant, a tactical first-person shooter.
